Arab parliament speaker arrives in Baghdad

(Baghdad: یالفرات News} The head of the Arab Parliament Meshaal al-Salami arrived in the capital Baghdad.
Al-Salami was accompanied by a high-level delegation of Arab parliamentarians representing a number of Arab countries.
Al-Salami will meet senior Iraqi officials and address the House of Representatives in his scheduled session on Tuesday.
The visit comes according to a member of the Foreign Relations Committee MP Abbas al-Bayati within the framework of the influx of Arab parliamentary delegations to Iraq to pay tribute to the victories that have been achieved and confirmation of the desire to develop relations with Iraq in addition to building bridges with various Arab institutions, including legislative and executive institutions. stressed that" The importance of Iraq's strategic role in the region and the importance of communication between the Arab and Iraqi parliament, in addition to the confirmation of the Iraqi people on the role of the Arab Parliament to stand with Iraq and Iraqis in their fight against terrorism. "
