[ltr]The Supreme National Commission for Accountability and Justice summoned some 86 candidates from several lists to participate in the 2018 House of Representatives elections.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The Supreme National Commission for Accountability and Justice summoned about 86 candidates from several lists participating in the elections of the House of Representatives 2018 because of the similarity of their names with others covered by its procedures and at the time announced by the Office of the Electoral Commission in the province Salah al-Din about the distribution of nearly 70 percent of the cards of voters in both long and short-term.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The body sent the first meal to the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) by recalling about 86 candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections and from various entities," said Fares al-Baku, spokesman for the organization.[/ltr]
[ltr]"The caller is obliged to bring his official documents, especially the military service book, to ensure that his name matches with the names in the database of the Commission, which contains the names of the advanced cadres in the dissolved Baath party or a repressive apparatus under the former regime."
The Chairman of the Commission, that "the names of some candidates may correspond to the name of the quartet with the procedures covered by accountability and justice, could be the difference in the name of mother or the year of birth," noting that "the Commission will send the rest of the names to the Commission in the next few days."[/ltr]
