Czech legislators have approved a government plan to increase the number of Czech troops deployed in Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries.
"The plan includes the deployment of 390 Czech troops in Afghanistan until 2020, compared with the 230 soldiers currently present as part of NATO's mission there," Fox News reported in a translation.
"The number of Czech troops will be increased to 110, compared to the 49 currently in place, while 120 additional troops will be sent to the African Sahel as part of the EU force," it said.
