    Iraq news

Mohsen al-Saadoun, head of the parliamentary legal committee and the representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the Iraqi parliament, revealed a meeting expected for the leaders of blocs and political parties, saying that the meeting became necessary after the decision of the Federal Court.

Saadoun said in a press statement that «this week will witness an important meeting brings together leaders of blocs and parties in the capital Baghdad, especially after the decisions of the Federal Court on the elections and their results».

The Kurdish MP, that «the meeting will discuss the need not to enter Iraq in the constitutional vacuum, and will discuss the decisions of the Federal Court last».

Saadoun stressed that the meeting will not discuss the issue of political alliances.

The Kurdish MP had considered that the decision of the Federal Court will complicate the political scene in Iraq, and warned of entering the country in a "constitutional vacuum."

"The decision of the Federal Court is binding on all parties and parties, and can not be distinguished or challenged," Saadoun said. "The decision of the Federal Court will complicate the political scene, especially after supporting the process of counting and sorting by hand, which will last for more than two months."

He added that «this period will enter Iraq in the constitutional vacuum, and that we were demanding that the counting operations only for funds that have doubts, and not all, there are provinces were free of any fraud or manipulation».

The Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Massoud Barzani welcomed the decision of the Federal Court, regarding the elections.
