Iraq signed a $ 369 million contract with Petrofac on Monday to build a new crude processing plant at the giant oil field of Majnoon, a senior oil executive told Reuters.
Ihsan Abdul Jabbar, director of the state-run Basra Oil Company, said the terms of the deal provided for completion of construction of the new facility with a production capacity of 200,000 barrels per day within 34 months.
