A spokesman for the al-Najba movement Hashim al-Moussawi said on Thursday that the United States is loathing sanctions against Iraq and Syria because they violated its plans in Iraq and Syria, especially on the issue of support for the terrorist Nasra terrorist movement in Syria.
Al-Moussawi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "the government rejected in advance the American decisions against the popular mobilization factions and the parliament said its speech and condemned those interventions," adding that "the national will and the government will not provide its children on the plate of the Americans, "Sanctions on the bad guys and the scaffolds are worthless and will not change the resolve of the sons of the popular crowd to defeat terrorism."
"The United States is working against the resistance factions, especially the terrorists, because they thwarted their plans in Iraq and Syria, and defeated terrorism, especially the US-backed victory front, which led to a move towards consensual sanctions against the resistance factions," he said.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy revealed on Tuesday that the US House of Representatives will pass a law to impose economic sanctions on the movements of the tribes of the people of truth and the winners.
