MP for the province of Diyala Burhan al-Mamouri, on Monday, the reading of the bill to re-turn Mandali district to spend under the dome of parliament during today's session.
"We submitted earlier a request signed by more than seventy deputies to cancel the decision of the Revolution Command Council dissolved No. 459, calling for the lifting of the injustice suffered by Mendele and restore the dignity of her children," Maamouri said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
He added, "After the President of the House of Representatives approved the request for the transfer of Mandali district to the district was referred to the Legal Committee to draft the law," noting that "the Legal Committee submitted to the presidency of the Council after the completion of all legal procedures."
He continued, "The draft resolution will be subject to extensive discussion in the presence of the concerned experts and members of the Committee of the Regions and representatives of the Diyala Provincial Council, stressing that the project will mature and prepare for the second reading and then vote on it."
