Disclosure of the submission of those close to Abdul Mahdi plan to face the demonstrations

[rtl]BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Officials in the prime minister's office, backed by Iraqi political leaders affiliated with the Fatah faction, Iran's most powerful political wing, have presented a multi-stage plan to counter the protests, a senior Iraqi official said on Sunday.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Arabi quoted the official as saying that the narrow circle in Abdul-Mahdi's office, with the support of the leaders of the "Fatah" coalition, and figures in the Popular Mobilization, presented a new plan from several stages to Abdul-Mahdi to confront the demonstrations, ending with a complete suppression.[/rtl]
[rtl]Abd al-Mahdi's office is called the narrow ring of his office, Abu Jihad al-Hashemi, and other officials in his office, such as his adviser for the crowd, Abu Muntadhar al-Husseini, Minister of National Security Faleh al-Fayyad and others known for their close relationship with Iran.[/rtl]
[rtl]The official revealed that the plan includes the continued blocking of the Internet with the continued closure of roads with concrete blocks and confining demonstrations and sit-ins in specific areas and not allowing their expansion, while continuing to censor the media and publishing, and the implementation of large-scale arrests targeting those influential in the demonstrations, and at the end of the plan or the demonstrations will face By force to disperse and gradually weaken them.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that Najaf and Karbala may be exempted from some measures to sanctify the cities and the sensitivity of their status.[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that much of what is mentioned in the plan is being implemented, warning at the same time that it may cause more casualties than those who died in the past period of the age of the demonstrations.[/rtl]
[rtl]According to the same official, Abdul Mahdi will pass the plan if the demonstrations continue through the government crisis cell, to share responsibility with the ministers of defense, Najah al-Shammari, Interior Minister Yassin al-Yasiri, National Security Faleh al-Fayyad, the intelligence service Mustafa al-Kazemi and other security leaders, who naturally belong to different parties and political blocs.[/rtl]
[rtl]AFP quoted sources as saying that political parties agreed during a meeting of the majority of leaders of the major blocs to stick to Abdul-Mahdi and adhere to power in return for reforms in the files of anti-corruption and constitutional amendments.[/rtl]
[rtl]The parties had also agreed to support the Government in ending the protests by all available means.[/rtl]
[rtl]Political sources pointed out that the agreement between the parties concerned "including others and wisdom" came after a meeting of the Quds Force commander Qasim Soleimani in Muqtada al-Sadr and Mohammed Reza (son of Ali al-Sistani), which resulted in the agreement to remain Abdul Mahdi in office.[/rtl]
[rtl]The sources confirmed that the only party that rejected the agreement is the victory alliance led by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who believes that the only solution to the crisis is the departure of Abdul Mahdi.[/rtl]
