Iraq plans to produce "Kia" cars early next year

The General Company for the manufacture of cars and equipment revealed, on Monday, its intention to produce Kia cars in the first quarter of the next year 2020.
The assistant general manager of the company Hussein Ahmed Mahmoud said in a statement seen by him / the information / that "the Babylon factory of the company and in fact In the city center of Hilla, it has a line to assemble and produce various types of Kia cars, such as “Banco” tonnage of one and a quarter tonnes, a cab, a cab, a Kemara, Kia Optima and a Cerato, and it is hoped to introduce Kia Sorento and Mohave cars.
Mahmoud added, "The company is awaiting the arrival of the materials for the production of the first meal, amounting to (96) Kia Optima cars, which are scheduled to be put on the market and sold to citizens in the first quarter of next year with the provision of after-sales maintenance services."
