Al-Sharifi: Technical conditions are not ready for early elections

The former head of the electoral district in the Electoral Commission, Miqdad Al-Sharifi, Saturday ruled out the possibility of holding early elections in light of the incomplete requirements for that.
Al-Sharifi said in a statement reported by "Al-Sharq Al-Awsat" newspaper and seen by him / the information. "The reference represents a strong pressure on the political blocs to start the required procedures in this context, but the technical conditions are not ready to hold elections early."
Sharifi said, "There are many problems in the new election law that have not been resolved yet, as well as many issues related to the status of the Electoral Commission, which needs a long time in order to be ready to conduct such elections."
The religious authority confirmed, on Friday, that holding early elections is the guarantor of ending the state of division in the country, indicating that the next parliament that emerges from those elections is the one who will take the fateful decisions. Ended / 25
