    Information / private ...
On Tuesday, Deputy Governor of Najaf Province, Fadel Al-Fatlawi, announced the marketing of 140,000 tons of paddy crops, stressing that large quantities of this crop remain with farmers due to the lack of silos and mills.
"The marketing of the paddy season exceeded 140,000 tons," Al-Fatlawi said in a statement to "The Information." The Ministry of Commerce has given 15 days for marketing, and tens of thousands of tons of paddling are still with farmers and have not been marketed yet.
He added that "the quantities in the farmers are awaiting a decision to deliver them to silos and mills, as the pre-requisitioning needs a lot of silos, despite the approval of the Ministry of Trade to establish a new silo in Najaf in Al Mishkhab."
He explained that "merchants and civil mills receive large amounts of paddy, which was not marketed to government silos."
He indicated that "the House of Representatives agreed to increase the price of the paddy marketed by farmers to the state, but the Finance Ministry had an opinion that there were not enough allocations to implement this decision, as the price of amber paddy tons reached 900 thousand dinars, while the price of paddy jasmine reached 700 thousand dinars." 25 n ended
