    The head of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, Representative Ahmed Salim Al-Kinani, revealed that a request had been submitted to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to set a date for questioning the head of the National Investment Commission, Suha Daoud Najjar, after the commission committed a number of legal violations.

    In a statement distributed by his media office, Al-Kinani said, "The Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment has hosted several times before, the head of the National Investment Commission, Mrs. Suha Daoud Najjar, in the presence of her advanced staff. During the hosting, the work progress in the commission was reviewed, as well as a discussion of the implementation of the investment law." and its articles correctly,” noting that “the National Investment Commission violated the law through the system approved by the Council of Ministers and which was originally lifted from the National Investment Commission!”

    He added, "These and other violations were registered with the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment, and the committee alerted the National Investment Commission several times about these violations, and we hoped the National Investment Commission would correct these violations, but unfortunately it did not respond to them and did not take them into account!"

    And MP Al-Kinani noted that, “after the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment had taken all the constitutional and legal measures in its dealings with the National Investment Commission, it moved towards submitting a request to the Presidency of Parliament, to interrogate the Chairman of the National Investment Commission, regarding the violations committed by the National Commission, and he will determine The date of the interrogation is in the coming days.”
