{Local: Al Furat News} The Engineering and Technical Projects Department of the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine revealed the date of the celebration of the completion of the second phase and the initiation of the third (last) phase in the courtyard project of Al-Aqila Zainab (peace be upon her).
The head of the department, Hussein Reda Mahdi, said in an interview with the Hussain shrine, that "on the 20th of Jumada al-Akhira (the end of next month), the anniversary of the birth of Lady Zahra (peace be upon her), the completion of the second phase will be celebrated, which is the completion of all the works related to the concrete structure of the Az-Aqila Zainab courtyard project. (Peace be upon her).
He explained, "After that, the third and final stage will begin, which is the stage of electrical and mechanical terminations and installations, and the announcement of the date of the actual start of the third stage."
He added, "According to the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority and the legitimate guardian of the Husseiniya holy shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the focus was on the shrine (Al-Zaytbi hill), the host of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), the large squares called (the open courtyard), and health units, for the purpose of opening them. The end of the next Hijri year, or the beginning of 2023, and that other facilities will open successively.
