    {Political: Al-Furat News} The assistant head of the Iranian judiciary for international affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, announced the signing of a joint statement between his country and Iraq in Tehran during the second meeting of the joint committee that follows up the investigations into the file of the assassination of the martyr Qassem Soleimani and the martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and their companions, the martyrs.
    Gharibabadi said in a statement today, Thursday, in this regard: that the two sides confirmed in the statement that the criminal act against the martyred leader Qassem Soleimani and the martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and their companions, the martyrs at Baghdad International Airport, is a violation of international rules, including international treaties related to terrorism, and requires international responsibility. In addition, the two countries declared once again their will and serious determination to detect, prosecute, prosecute and punish all the elements involved in, decision-making, designing and executing this criminal act.
    The Assistant Head of the Judiciary and Secretary of the Iranian Human Rights Committee indicated that the two sides exchanged a set of documents and reports related to the file of this crime, and said: The documents and information related to the role and interference of the American suspects were presented by the Iranian delegation to the Iraqi delegation, and it was decided to conduct supplementary investigations by the judiciary in both countries in This connection. It was also agreed that the two parties would continue to exchange investigation documents and any information related to this criminal act.
    He added: The two sides also stressed in the joint statement to use all national and international legal and judicial possibilities to implement justice and prevent the occurrence of such criminal acts.
    Gharibabadi said: Among the other clauses of the agreement; Bilateral cooperation to complete information about all the accused and how to prove their responsibility towards this criminal act before the judicial courts as a major agenda for the two parties.
    It is noteworthy that the joint investigation committee between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq held its first meeting in Baghdad on November 24 and 25 last, and the second meeting was held on December 21 and 22 in Tehran, while the third meeting will be held in Baghdad in a month and a half.
