    : The Parliamentary Energy Committee announced, on Sunday, the approval of the Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, on the committee’s request to wait in raising the prices of oil derivatives for governmental and private factories and factories.

Committee member, Representative Muhammad Al-Shammari, said in a statement to / Information /, that “the Oil and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives hosted, today, Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, where three main axes were discussed. He indicated that “the axes included the project to extend the pipeline to Aqaba in Jordan, the second increase in the prices of oil derivatives and its impact on the layoffs of thousands of workers in private and government factories, in addition to the third file related to the gasoline crisis.”
    Al-Shammari added, "The committee discussed at length the Minister of Oil about the ministry's decision to raise the prices of oil derivatives for governmental and private factories and factories, especially in the field of cement and bricks industry."
