The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, called, during his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salah al-Din Muhammad Bahaa al-Din, on Monday, the necessity of implementing the constitutional entitlements.
According to a presidential statement, the two sides discussed, in the meeting, the general situation in the country and political developments.
The statement added, "The necessity of implementing national and constitutional entitlements and ending the political crisis was emphasized by relying on dialogue and convergence to overcome the outstanding issues between the parties in a spirit of responsibility and patriotism, and to begin meeting the living and service requirements of citizens as a top priority by forming a capable government that is able to respond to the country's immediate requirements." .
