The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, on Saturday, that there is no understanding between the Democratic Party and the Union on the environmental, construction and housing portfolios in the Sudanese government.
The leader of the Union, Sherzad Samad, said, in an interview with Mawazine News, that "Pavel Talabani visited Baghdad last week and met the leaders of the political blocs, and they discussed a number of issues, including the two ministries."
He added, "These discussions did not result in anything because the Democratic Party also visited Baghdad with a delegation," stressing that "there are no understandings between the two parties at the present time, and that other problems are considered greater and more important than ministerial portfolios."
