    Today, Wednesday, currency auction sales in the Central Bank of Iraq exceeded 158 million US dollars, with the participation of 40 banks.
    Also, the Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 158 million and 546 thousand and 192 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
     Most of the sales went to enhance the balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, amounting to 115 million 396 thousand 192 dollars, while the rest went in the form of cash sales, amounting to 43 million 150 dollars.
    In addition, 22 banks met requests to consolidate balances abroad, and 18 banks met cash requests, in addition to 126 mediation companies.
