Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi received, today, Wednesday, the head of the Federal Audit Bureau, Rafel Yassin Khudair, and the head of the Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, in two separate meetings.
The two meetings discussed, according to a statement by the Parliament Speaker’s office, “the mechanism of work of the two oversight institutions, and an overview of the workflow in them.”
The statement added, “The need to activate and strengthen their role, and to intensify efforts; To preserve public money, with an emphasis on providing the necessary support and capabilities for the success of the work of these institutions.
The two meetings were attended by the head of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Representative Ziyad Al-Janabi.
