Chairman of the Media and Communications Commission, Ali Al-Moayad, directed, on Thursday, the formation of an operations room to follow up on communication services during Eid Al-Adha in all governorates.
The authority stated, in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the head of the Media and Communications Authority, Ali Al-Moayyed, directed the formation of a central operations room to supervise the quality of mobile phone services throughout the country during the Eid Al-Adha holiday."
Al-Moayad, who also supervises the sub-field rooms in the governorates of Iraq, confirmed that "the authority seeks to ensure the stability of communication services and data circulation during the Eid al-Adha holiday, as there will be extensive use of these services," noting that "the central and subsidiary operating rooms work around the clock to enhance the efficiency of Mobile networks, limiting harmful interference on radio frequencies and monitoring them through advanced devices, as well as resolving all network bottlenecks in real time.
Al-Moayad called for "calling the toll-free number (177) of the Consumer Voice Department in the authority, which works around the clock to receive public complaints about any defect in communication or Internet services provided by mobile phone companies operating in the country." Ended 29 / h
