The official spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Kanaani, stated that the Iraqi government is committed to disarming armed groups in Iraq, evacuating them from their existing military barracks, and transferring them to camps determined by the Iraqi government until September 19, 2023. Nasser Kanaani added, in his weekly press conference

With regard to the agreement between Iran and Iraq and the presence of armed groups in the Kurdistan region, Nasser Kanaani explained that, based on the agreement that was formed between the governments of Iran and Iraq, the Iraqi government committed itself to disarming the armed ones. terrorist groups in Iraq and evacuating them from their existing military barracks and transferring them to the camps where they are located.
