Shafaq News / The Iraqi Embassy in Berlin announced that the health of the President is improving.
A
statement issued by the embassy and reported to "Shafaq News" reads
that "the news published by Iraqi website and quoted by Mesopotamia
Encyclopedia regarding the health deterioration of his Excellency
President, Jalal Talabani is not true”.
“Talabani’s health is
witnessing steady improvement in an increased frequency and everyone is
looking forward to his auspicious return home as soon as physicians give
a permission”, the statement went on.
The statement acknowledged
that the Presidency has authorized "Dr. Najim al-Dein Kareem to declare
President's health condition, his last statement explained that it is
improving continuously”.
"Media organizations should to be
precise in what they publish when it comes to the president's health,
which is of important to all Iraqis", the statement added.
Meanwhile
number of local press reports stated that the hospital treating
President Talabani sent a message to the Iraqi ambassador in Berlin
includes a proposal to remove the attached medical devices, while
physicians said that will lead to his death because of poor health
condition.
The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani is receiving treatment in Berlin, Germany from months due to the deterioration in his health.
