    <p style="text-align: left;"><p style="text-align: left;"><p style="text-align: left; unicode-bidi: embed; direction: ltr;" class="MsoNormal">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier for Energy, Hussein al-Shahristani, confirmed the continuity of the Electricity Ministry’s work to boost the power production by end of 2013.
    Shahristani told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Electricity Ministry announced earlier, that the electricity crisis will be addressed by end of 2013 through joining new power stations being established, to the service.”
    The Ministry of Electricity announced that “The power provision in Baghdad ranged between 15 to 16 hours per day over the past days while Maysan and Kirkuk provinces enjoy 24 hours of electric power.”
    “Basra province is provided with 16 hours and Nineveh is provided with 18 hours and the rest provinces are provided with electric power ranges between 16-24 hours daily,” it added.
    “The production capacity of the eclectic power reached 9750 megawatt over the past days while the demand on the electric energy is currently up to 13500 megawatt,” the MoE pointed out.

    MoE announces improvement in producing electricity power

    <p style="direction: ltr;">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Electricity announced equipping Baghdad with electricity power for 15 to 16 hours daily during the last days.”
    <p style="direction: ltr;">The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Electricity, Musab al-Mudaris, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The production capacity of electricity power reached (9,750 MW),” noting that “This rate of production is achieved for the first time in the history of the National Electricity Ministry since its foundation.”
    <p style="direction: ltr;">“Both Kirkuk and Maysan are provided with electricity power all day long while Basra and Nineveh are provided with electricity for (16-18) hours daily and the rest of provinces ranged from (16-24 hours) daily,” the statement added.
    <p style="direction: ltr;">“The required energy of electricity power is now about (13,500 MW) and it will increase during summer season,” he pointed out. \END\
