The share of the Kurds and the amount of oil exported blocking the adoption of the Iraqi budget

Kurdistan Alliance warned of a repeat scenario of the dispute over the region's share of the federal budget for next year, while the Finance Committee considered the parliamentary select this share «a technical issue relating to conduct the census».
Said a member of the Coalition MP Farhad Alaterci in a statement to «life»: «Some politicians raises the question of the region's share of the budget each year to highlight them in the media and get some political gains».
He added: «should be aware that the House of Representatives who are demanding to make the region's share of 13 percent, instead of the 17 that determines this is a census of the Kurdish provinces of the exact percentage». He urged «the central government and the region as a result of the acceptance of any result in this census». He attributed the «delayed the census to political reasons».
He declined to link the issue to export oil from the region, stressing that «not received in any given year its full share, and receive no more than 11 percent due to the deduction of sovereign expenditure related expenses and the Department of Defense and others, although it did not achieve any progress on the security level.
And still project the federal budget in the corridors of the Council, which announced the expansion of the committee charged with discussing and extension work.
The new MP for the «rule of law» Sadiq Al Laban, claim to reduce the proportion of the region in the budget because «Kurdistan share does not exceed 13 percent of the population, according to according to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce».
