(VOI) - Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Al Halbusi met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani on Sunday on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Doha.
"The meeting discussed the revitalization of bilateral relations between Iraq and the State of Qatar and means of strengthening them in the interests of the two brotherly peoples, especially the economic and investment sectors," a statement from the office of Halaboussi said.
The two sides discussed "activating the trade agreements and facilitating the procedures for granting visa features between the two countries."
