The Association of Agricultural Societies in Basra announced the completion of the marketing of the wheat crop for the current season, with a quantity marketed 40 thousand and 562 tons.
The head of the Federation Hamid al-Saadi said in a press statement that the quantities marketed for this season increased from last year, amounting to 16 thousand tons, "adding that" this increase is due to the amounts of rain and increase water releases towards the province. "
Al-Saadi said that until now, farmers and farmers whose agricultural crops have been damaged by floods and rain have not been compensated.
