    The investigations department of the Integrity Commission announced on Thursday the seizure of a director of accounts in the health of Babylon, for wasting public money by manipulating documents for the purchase of drugs worth 655,000,000 million dinars. 
    In a statement received by Bader News, the department said that "a team of staff from the Babil investigation office moved to the Department of Health of the Governorate - the Accounts Division and 
    arrested the accused." She added that "25 of the special treatment for the purchase Medicines and medical supplies and documents of exchange and certified copies of the administrative orders for the composition of the purchase committees for the years (2017 and 2018). 
    The department confirmed that "the existence of scratching and cancellation in the documents, in addition to falsifying the signatures of the purchase committees and the moderation of prices and receipt during the tenure of the accused Department of the accounts of the Department," noting that "the total amount of purchase receipts amounted to (655 million) million dinars."
    The court stated that "a physical record of the seizures was prepared and presented to the judge of the competent investigation court, who decided to arrest him according to the provisions of Article 315 of the Penal Code."
