The head of the victory coalition Haider al-Abadi considered, on Thursday, the meeting of the coordination framework today as a (positive start).
Al-Abadi said in a tweet to him via Twitter, which was followed by NRT Arabiya, (December 2, 2021), "I congratulate Al-Sadr's meeting with the forces of the coordination framework, and I see in it a positive start to get out of the political crisis."
He added, "The atmosphere of the meeting prevailed in a patriotic and responsible spirit, and there were many issues that witnessed a positive understanding, and it was agreed to continue consultations to overcome all obstacles in the service of the people and the country."
The meeting issued a statement in which it stressed taking the necessary practical steps to combat corruption, hold the corrupt accountable, stop the approved waste of public money, stress the exit of foreign forces according to the announced timetable, and put in place mechanisms to ensure that weapons are confined to the hands of the state, and the protection, support and organization of the Popular Mobilization in a manner that enhances its role in maintaining security in Iraq. .
