Iraq and Iran sign a joint economic and industrial agreement, the financial benefit of which is for a group of the two countries

Shafaq News/ The "Martyr and Martyr's Affairs" Foundation in Iran and the "Martyrs" Foundation in Iraq signed in Baghdad an agreement for joint cooperation, especially in the field of economy and industry.
The agreement was signed by the head of the Iranian "Martyr and Martyr's Affairs" Foundation, Amir Hossein Qazizadeh Hashemi, and the head of the "Martyrs" Foundation in Iraq, Abdulelah Al-Naeli, according to what was published by the semi-official Iranian news agency "Fars" today, Wednesday.
According to this agreement, a joint economic and industrial infrastructure will be established between the two institutions, as well as the opening of a branch of the Iranian "Shahid" University in Iraq, in addition to an agreement to form a joint working group to follow up on the various provisions of the agreement.
The agreement includes in its terms; Organizing visiting trips to the holy shrines by the “families of the martyrs, the sacrificed, and the disabled” in the two countries, and the inauguration of joint factories for food and industrial products so that their proceeds are used directly in the path of supporting families covered by the sponsorship of the Iranian and Iraqi “martyrs” institutions.
It was agreed to accept university students from the families of the Iraqi martyrs in Shahid University and other Iranian universities, as well as to exchange university professors and benefit from their experiences in Iraqi and Iranian universities.
The Iraqi side submitted a request from Iran to build residential neighborhoods for the Martyrs Foundation in Iraq.
The head of the Iranian "Martyr and Martyr's Affairs" Foundation, Amir Hossein Qazizadeh Hashemi, arrived in Baghdad on Monday evening on an official visit at the invitation of his Iraqi counterpart.
During this 4-day visit, Qazizadeh Hashemi is scheduled to meet with the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of Parliament, and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council in Iraq.
