, Minister of Oil, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, affirmed work to accelerate plans and projects for optimal investment of free and associated gas to support the energy sector and reduce dependence on fossil fuels in order to maintain a clean environment and reduce harmful emissions to the climate.
Ismail said in a speech delivered on the sidelines of his participation in the 29th Middle East Conference for Oil and Gas, which will be held in the Bahraini capital for the period from 16-17 May, that "the past period has witnessed many important projects in the oil, energy and infrastructure sector, through the conclusion of contracts mission with reputable global companies."
Abdul-Jabbar pointed out to "Iraq's keenness on the stability of the global oil market through cooperation with the member states of" OPEC Plus", to develop common visions, and an appropriate strategy to confront the challenges facing the oil market, in order to restore market balance, and preserve the gains it achieved during the period. past".
