Shafaq News/ On Monday, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, called on all political forces for a national dialogue by forming a committee that includes their representatives to sit at the dialogue table and draw up a "road map for the solution."
Al-Kazemi said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "Iraq is witnessing a great political tension that threatens if wise people do not interfere with dire consequences," adding: "While we have taken all necessary measures and measures to control the situation, maintain security, and prevent the waste of Iraqi blood, we call on all parties To calm, reduce escalation, to start an initiative for a solution on national bases.
The Prime Minister called on everyone "not to be drawn into accusations, the language of treason, and to set up hostility and hatred between the Brotherhood in the same country, and to sit at a national dialogue table to reach a political solution to the current crisis, under the roof of Iraqi synergy and the mechanisms of national dialogue."
Al-Kazemi addressed the demonstrators, saying, "Your message is clear, and your commitment to calm and organization is a duty and appreciated, and it is now time to discuss the mechanisms for launching a reform project agreed upon by the various national parties, and I am sure that in Iraq there is enough rationality and courage to move forward with a project." My country is getting the country out of its current crisis."
He called on the political forces to "assume their national and legal responsibility," noting that "the caretaker government carried out all its duties despite exceeding the time limit set by the constitutional timings to form a new government, which is a constitutional violation."
Al-Kazemi continued: "With all that, we were and are still ready to provide all assistance to reach a solution formula that is satisfactory to all, and in a manner that preserves social peace, the stability of state institutions and the interests of the people."
Al-Kazemi returned to call on the demonstrators: “The protesting brothers must cooperate with the security forces, respect state institutions, evacuate them and abide by public order,” at the same time, directing the security forces to “defend public and private properties, and official institutions, and prevent any attack on them by all legal means.” ".
On Monday afternoon, the capital, Baghdad, witnessed a demonstration by the audience of the coordination framework, which includes a group of Shiite parties near the suspension bridge leading to the Green Zone, after an invitation from the "Organizing Committee to Support Legitimacy and Preserve State Institutions", which came in response to the open sit-in of supporters of the Sadrist movement in Parliament and Sadr's call to change the political system.
The Iraqi street is awaiting what will happen to the situation in the capital, Baghdad, after counter calls from the leader of the Sadrist movement on the one hand, and the forces of the Shiite coordination framework on the other hand, to demonstrate in front of and inside the green walls.
The dispute is intensifying between the Sadrists, who are holding a sit-in at the Iraqi parliament's headquarters in the Green Zone, and the coordination framework that called on its supporters to demonstrate near it.
Yesterday, large numbers of supporters of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, stormed the Iraqi parliament building, in the second incursion within days, and announced an open sit-in until those they described as "corrupt" were expelled.
Supporters of the Coordination Framework demonstrated in Baghdad today, Monday, and tried to storm the Green Zone before the law enforcement forces confronted them, only to withdraw later.
On Monday, a number of Iraqi provinces witnessed demonstrations in support of the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and his call to demonstrate in the provinces, with the exception of Najaf province, while Nineveh province joined the demonstrations in support of the Sadrists for the first time.
