Shafaq News/ A close associate of the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr, known as "the Minister of the Leader", called on Thursday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to "rein in" Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq militias led by Qais Khazali, announcing at the same time the freezing of Saraya al-Salam, the military wing of the Sadrist movement in Regions and cities of Iraq, with the exception of Samarra District, Salah al-Din Governorate.
Saleh Muhammad Al-Iraqi said in a tweet on Twitter, which was followed by Shafak News Agency; "The commander of the armed forces must rein in the insolent Qais militias and their ilk, as they know nothing but terrorism, money and power."
The Minister of Commander added, "In our turn, and to stave off sedition in Basra province, we announce the freezing of all armed factions, if any, including the Peace Brigades, and the prohibition of the use of weapons in all provinces except for (Salah al-Din: (Samarra and its environs) or according to the directives of the current commander-in-chief of the armed forces."
And Saleh Muhammad al-Iraqi added, "Because of him, we will announce other measures later. Intimidation and frightening of civilians is forbidden and forbidden, and internal fighting is forbidden and forbidden."
