Shafaq News Agency publishes copies of the ministerial curriculum prepared by the Prime Minister-designate, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and submitted to the Iraqi Parliament.
The highlights of the ministerial curriculum are:
Reconsidering all the decisions of the caretaker government daily, especially the economic and security decisions and the ill-considered appointments.
Disbursing petrodollar dues to oil and gas-producing governorates and returning the percentage allocated to these governorates to 5% for production and refining
- Conducting provincial council elections and setting a date for them in the government programme.
Amending the general parliamentary elections law within 3 months and holding early elections within a year
Inclusion of the Sinjar Agreement, which contributes to restoring security and stability in the judiciary
- Unifying the customs policy at all land, sea and air border ports, and closing unofficial ports
Allocating a sufficient budget to compensate those affected by terrorist and military operations in accordance with the applicable law.
- Completing the procedures of the special agreement to fill the security vacuum between the defensive lines between the federal forces and the Peshmerga
- Addressing proxy work in the management of state institutions within a period of 6 months from the formation of the government and sending it to the House of Representatives in three meals to vote on it.
Confirmation of coordination between the governments of the center and the region on the files and decisions that pertain to the Kurdistan region.
- Commitment to submit a comprehensive economic reform paper linked to a specific executive program and the necessity of emphasizing the establishment of the sovereign fund as a safety valve for future generations.
