    Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Electricity announced the completion of the preparation of an integrated technical study on smart grids, while clarifying its procedures towards network trespassers and those who refrain from paying wages.

    The ministry’s spokesman, Ahmed Musa, said in a statement to the official agency, followed by “NAS” (May 14, 2023), that “the ministry decided, in accordance with government directives, to organize slums and agricultural areas and treat them as consumers, and to install electronic meters to organize slums, rehabilitate distribution networks, develop nutrients and install power stations.” stationary and mobile.

    He stressed, "His ministry will go to electronic readings and smart networks, as it has completed the preparation of an integrated technical study in which it sponsored international models and the experiences of neighboring countries and the Kurdistan region, and it will be submitted to the Council of Ministers for discussion."
