During the current semester, Parliament is preparing to legislate many important and prominent laws, including activating the law (Where did you get this from?) and the second reading of the (Recovery) law to put an end to corruption and corruptors.
Committee member MP Duha Al-Qasir said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “The Parliamentary Integrity Committee has taken it upon itself to adopt the handling of files submitted with identification papers, especially as it works transparently and clearly for everyone, in files related to ministries, agencies and special grades that the committee is currently working on.” ", noting "the existence of an electronic channel that receives complaints and cases submitted with identification documents."
Al-Qusair called for “activating the (Where did you get this from?) law because of its importance in exposing the corrupt,” calling for “reconsidering it and addressing the controversial points in a way that serves the law to recover the stolen funds and limit the hotbeds of corruption to reach the stage of eliminating them.” The committee is also in the process of lifting the “Recovery” Law. ) for a second reading within the current legislative term.
She added, "Parliament took a long time to legislate the budget and elections laws, which caused a delay in legislating several laws that concern the citizen, touch his reality, and reflect positively on the economic aspect, the most important of which is the (Cybercrimes, Oil and Gas Law) and other laws related to protecting the family and overcoming the conflicts that have become It is alien and has a negative impact on the intellectual structures of society,” stressing that “all these laws are pending before Parliament.”
