    Economy News - Follow-up
The Iranian News Agency "IRNA" revealed the end of the traffic problems in Iranian cities that were caused by the movement of oil tankers entering from Iraq and then Iran and reaching the Gulf countries, which raises many questions about the connection of this issue to the reports that talk about Kurdistan oil being smuggled through Iran.
According to IRNA, since the end of last year, the residents of Bushehr have faced a large number of oil tankers with license plates from a neighboring country, which did not have heavy traffic.
These heavy vehicles, which brought oil materials from Iraq to Khuzestan and then headed to Bushehr to facilitate the transportation chain to send goods to the Persian Gulf countries by creating heavy traffic, caused a large part of the social bodies, including activists, to protest, and the media demanded in the form of many reminders to organize these carriers to relieve traffic pressure in the urban area.
"Fuel tankers are literally causing disturbances on the streets leading to Shelat intersection," Ali Mohammadi, who introduced himself as a taxi driver, told IRNA.
"The presence of this number of carriers and traffic has caused some taxis in the city to travel less on this road and created problems in transporting people," he added.
This citizen from Bushehri continues, “The presence of many accidents and barriers has caused confusion for people on this road.”
Another Bushehr citizen told IRNA, "It is natural that the entry of these tankers into the country and Bushehr province is accompanied by permits and has benefits for the country, but we must not forget that people have rights and should not be ignored."
In an interview with the Iranian News Agency, the head of Bushehr City Council said, "People complain about the movement of transport trucks in urban areas of Bushehr and the frequent traffic jams that occur, and this is true."
Vahid Nikrush added, "We have followed this issue through official sources. The presence of these tankers in the country and the city of Bushehr is subject to a series of official permits, but the requirements must also be met so as not to disrupt people's lives."
"The urban area system is disrupted with the arrival of a large number of these tankers and it even affects the road infrastructure," he continued.
"Any kind of activity that could affect the field of urban management services should be done in coordination with the council and the municipality," Bushehr mayor told IRNA.
"At the end of last year, a large number of fuel tankers were suddenly seen on the streets of Bushehr city without prior notice or coordination with the municipality," Hossein Heidari added.
Questions are being raised about the source of these fuel tankers entering from Iraq to Iran, heading to the Gulf, as this route is considered illogical, indicating the possibility that this fuel is smuggled, and it also matches reports that tankers of fuel and oil from Kurdistan are being smuggled through Iran.
