A security source confirmed, on Saturday, the completion of the deployment of security belts around the second largest gas field in eastern Iraq.
The source told /Al-Maalouma/ agency, "The security belts around the Khashm al-Ahmar field have been completed in their three stages, and a special operations room has been formed to manage the security file, with the deployment of forces within an operational plan supported by many security agencies."
He pointed out that "the entry of Khashm al-Ahmar into actual production will create a revival and support large areas surrounding it in terms of providing labor and other service projects."
The Ministry of Oil referred the Khashm al-Ahmar gas field to an Arab company for development under an official license. End 25 F
