Announced that the European Union mission in Iraq, on Sunday, provided some 104 million euros in aid for the displaced over the past year in 2015, and confirmed that it will not interfere with the internal affairs of Iraq and supports its territorial integrity, as pointed out that it is working to restore stability in the areas liberated from the control of the organization (Daash) .
He said the European Union's ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Simone in an interview (range Press), "The European Union has provided aid to Iraq in the past year in 2015, about 104 million euros went mostly for displaced people," noting that "the European Union mission to support and assist the displaced families at the level of all parts of Iraq and not on one side only. "
Said Simone, "The EU supports Iraq's unity and dignity of its territory away from interference policy in the internal affairs of Iraq," adding that "the most important work of the Union is to work towards national reconciliation and will satisfy Iraq's request if asked us to intervene in this aspect."
And on the war waged by Iraq against al (Daash), Simone said, that "the international coalition is playing an important role by multiplying the stronghold of al (Daash)," asserting that "the EU mission has a political role and function of diplomacy is supporting Iraq against (Daash politically)."
He said Ambassador of the European Union, that "the European Union continuously works to restore stability to the liberated areas."
It mentions that the liberated areas of (Daash) suffer from great destruction hinders the possibility of the return to the people, in the absence of government's ability to reconstruction as a result of the financial crisis currently facing due to the drop in world oil prices and the expenses of the war against "terrorism."
