Oil reveals the direct rehabilitation of Baiji refinery

He explained that the research, which will be delivered over two consecutive days during special sessions of the conference, is divided among four micro-oil specialties, including the axes of production and oil reservoirs, exploration and environment and safety in the oil industry and the economics of control, measurements, energy, transport and storage, as well as the technology of drilling oil wells and problems, Will focus on the scientific and productive development of the oil sector. Al-Naima stressed that the concerned authorities in the Ministry of Oil will review the recommendations of the scientific, technical and environmental conference and its conclusions to indicate benefiting from them to develop the oil sector in the country, especially in Basra, which occupies 70% of the activities of the sector. He explained that the issue of improving the environment and addressing pollution and its reflection on the health of citizens will be a priority of the Ministry's development plans in the next period, as well as support investment trends in the oil and gas sector and liquidation and petrochemicals. The Undersecretary of the Ministry revealed that the technical, engineering and construction reconstruction teams of the ministry went to the Baiji refinery two weeks ago to begin work on the rehabilitation of Salahaddin refinery 2, while at the same time was strengthened by other teams to work on repairing the oil pipelines linking Kirkuk and Baiji, Mosul and Haditha and Baghdad. In turn, stressed the director of the Basra Petroleum Company Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar, that the conference is an opportunity for those running the oil affairs in the country to benefit in the development of the oil sector in all extractive, export and environmental magazines. He added that the modern scientific and technical outputs dealing with oil extraction industries and processes have taken great dimensions in their effects in the various oil operations in increasing production and improving its quality, as well as addressing surpluses, losses and environmental pollution and reducing the risks to public health and soil.
