Iraq announces the opening of four border crossings with Iran

BAGHDAD - Iraq's ambassador to Iran, Rajih al-Moussawi, announced on Sunday the opening of four border crossings between Iraq and Iran, praising Iran's support for his country at various stages.
"The increase in economic and industrial exchange between the two countries is subject to the knowledge of the potentials and potentials and the leaders of the specialized seminars between the merchants and the owners of the industries and chambers of commerce of Iran and Iraq," Moussawi said in remarks to the Fars news agency after meeting with the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, .
Moussawi added that "in the light of an agreement between the Iranian and Iraqi interior ministers will be the opening of the Khosravi crossing and 4 border crossings between the two countries."
He stressed that "the development of free trade and economic zones, the opening of permanent exhibitions of Iranian products in Iraq, the linking of railway lines between the two countries and the development of border ports plays an important role in enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries."
