Parliamentary Integrity: Neighboring countries smuggle drugs to Iraq

The Parliamentary Integrity Committee revealed on Thursday that some neighboring countries have smuggled drugs to Iraq, calling on the government to move and end files of corruption of the Ministry of Health.
"Some of the neighboring countries are responsible for the smuggling of damaged medicines to Iraq in order to destroy the health sector in it," said member of the committee.
She added that "the government is unable to control the manipulation of the file of medicines and Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi control of the health sector file," noting that "corruption of the health file controls the life of the citizen and not less serious terrorism."
Naseef said that "the Integrity Commission intends to open all the files of the ministry and the health sector as a service file affects the life of the simple citizen without any compliment to any political parties."
