Planning: April low inflation and annual rise

The Ministry of Planning announced on Thursday the decline in inflation for the month of April, while inflation rose for the same month.
The Central Bureau of Statistics said in a statement received "The Economist News" a copy of it, "The index for the month of April of this year 2019 in Iraq was 104.4%, decreased by 0.8% compared with the month of warning 2019," referring to "the decline of the Food and Beverage Division Non-alcoholic by 1.4%, as well as the housing section by 1.1%, and the proportion of communication by 0.1%.
"The annual inflation rate rose in April 2019 to 0.7% compared with April 2018, when the index was then 103.7%, while the inflation index basis by 0.3% from the previous month and rose by 0.4% compared to April 2018.
The Center for Statistics and Information Technology announced in January 2012 that it has started to use mechanization to collect different prices and at specific times, rather than the paper form in force, stressing that this will contribute to the speed of collection and accuracy of prices and correct their calculation in case of errors.
