The Ministry of Commerce, the engineering team of the Office of the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi announced the second and third phases of the campaign to create treasury energies using concrete poured from the capital Baghdad.
"The engineering team of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi's office in charge of boosting the treasury capacity of wheat continues to work in the construction of roofs in Diwaniya and Najaf provinces to be used to store the expected wheat crop," said Naeem Mohsen Gir, director general of the General Company for Grain Trade. The season, especially after the official directive to increase the area planted to take to cover eight provinces after it was confined during the last two decades to four provinces (Najaf, Diwaniya, Babylon and Muthanna) with a focus on the provinces of Diwaniya and Najaf as the main producing provinces of the province.
He added, "The Higher Committee for Marketing has discussed during its meeting with the provinces that have been introduced to the map of the provinces producing wheat this season, as reported by the Ministry of Agriculture to include the provinces of Diyala, Wasit, Maysan and Dhi Qar agriculture this season along with Samawa, Babylon and Diwaniya and Najaf, "indicating that" our branches in the provinces have been confirmed to complete all arrangements and the creation of treasury energies and marketing requirements and receipt before the start of the marketing season and the probability of the sincerity of the expectations of the Ministry of Agriculture to produce those provinces. "
On the other hand, Ammar Shaalan al-Khairallah, the representative of the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that "the engineering effort, in coordination with the engineering staff of the General Company for Grain Trade, started the second and third stages of the campaign to create treasury energies, which began the beginning of March using casts (concrete blocks) Prime Minister of the streets of Baghdad and the vicinity of the Green Zone, through which the establishment of warehouses (Bunker) has been in six provinces, during which more than one million and two hundred thousand tons of local wheat, which was marketed this year and was able to strengthen the storage situation in those provinces.
Al-Khairallah added, "The second phase will include the construction of new roofs of concrete blocks in Najaf and Diwaniyah. All the equipment has been chosen for the roofs and all the work equipment has been transferred. The third stage will include the roofing of the bunkers, which was established in mid-March of this year. The first was in the provinces of Wasit, Muthanna, Dhi Qar, Maysan, Diyala and Anbar. 29 / h
