On Sunday, President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, stressed the importance of protecting media professionals from coercive measures.
President Saleh said in a tweet on Twitter: "On World Press Freedom Day, we stress the importance of protecting media professionals from coercive measures."
He added, “The safety of female journalists and journalists is an imperative necessity to build a free press without fear or favor for justice and peace,” expressing “his wishes for a campaign of free pens, ideas bright with success and lasting brilliance.” Ended 29 / A 43
