    On Sunday, Turkmen politician and former member of parliament, Fawzi Akram Tarazi, expressed his hope that the Pope’s visit and the hospitality accorded to him would be a prelude to ending the state of arrogance and the massacres committed by America against the Iraqi people.
    "Everyone saw how the Iraqi people, with all its components, received Pope Francis," Tarazi said. "This indicates that the people are eager for peace and abhor the politics of wars and conflicts."
