    On Tuesday, the Ministry of Agriculture announced an increase in the domestic production of the poultry sector for the month of February of poultry meat and table eggs.
    "The implementation of the ministry’s directives had a positive impact on the increase in the production rates of table eggs and poultry meat, as the Department of Livestock indicated, through the monthly reports received from the agricultural directorates in all governorates except for the Kurdistan region, the production of ( 251731679) table eggs from the (168) approved operating projects, and (9637) tons of pure poultry meat, in the (641) approved operating projects.
    She indicated that "the number of marketed chickens, including (6261130) chickens, and the number of hatcheries operating at the rate of (70) hatcheries, where (19643928) chicks were produced, while the number of working slaughterhouses reached (6) slaughterhouses, and (2113200) chickens were carved and (3170) tons of pure meat were produced. .
    And she continued, "The number of operating feed factories reached (63) feed factories, where (131981) tons of feed were produced. With regard to renewing and granting permits to practice a profession, (6) poultry projects were designated and granted a license to practice the profession, (4) poultry projects were transferred ownership. , (5) The expansion and renewal of poultry projects as part of the services provided by the Department of Poultry Projects in the department to contribute to improving and increasing production, in addition to making statements to follow up the progress of work in projects and fields.
    The ministry indicated, through the Department of Livestock, that it "continues to provide the best services to support, develop and increase the production of the livestock sector, to contribute to meeting the needs of the local market, and to supplement the food basket for the consumer in the service of the national economy."
