[rtl]Baghdad ( NINA ) - Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, met today in his office the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Iraq, Stage Paolo Piras.
According to a statement by his office, Al-Maliki welcomed Ambassador Peras, wishing him success in his new mission as his country's ambassador in Baghdad, stressing that Iraq has close relations with Denmark in various fields.
The statement indicated that developments in the political and security situation in Iraq and the region were discussed, and the ongoing preparations for the elections were discussed.
