The Independent High Electoral Commission announced, on Wednesday, that the biometric registration deadline will be extended to mid-April, in order to ensure the largest possible participation in the elections.
"The Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission decided to extend the biometric registration of voters," said the official spokesperson for the commission, Jumana Al-Ghalai.
She explained, "The extension will be until the end of the official working hours on the 15th of next April." 29 / A43
