, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi directed the implementation of the projects of the Ministry of Electricity and a plan to address bottlenecks this summer of 2021.
And the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement that “Al-Nour News” received a copy, that “Al-Kazemi directed the ministries (Finance, Planning, Oil, and Electricity) to implement the projects of the Ministry of Electricity and a plan to address bottlenecks in the summer of 2021,” noting that “this is in implementation of the Council’s decision. No. (132 of 2020), and Resolution of the Ministerial Council for Energy (59 of 2020).
She explained, "The directive stipulated the holding of a consultative meeting between the (Finance, Planning, and Oil) ministers, as well as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity for Production Affairs; To find appropriate solutions to implement the aforementioned two decisions and to prepare the required financial allocation.
Earlier, the Prime Minister issued a set of decisions to address the electric power system, to meet the shortage of hours of supplying electric power in Baghdad and the provinces.
