, today, Wednesday, government sources revealed movements around the drug file in Diyala Governorate, with a secret plan of action to overthrow the big heads.
The sources said, "In the past months, deputies and government leaders provided very dangerous information to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi about the penetration of smuggling and drug mafias in the public scene in Diyala."
She added, "The information that was provided indicates that the province has sounded the alarm and turned it into the largest corridor for the flow of drugs towards Iraq, especially with the increasing flow of different types and drugs, some of which were seized by an operation in Baquba and the rest of Diyala cities."
The sources indicated, "Al-Kazemi issued directives to form a supreme committee in order to detect the whales of smuggling and drugs in Diyala and to give the matter great importance, especially since the number of drug users is constantly increasing," noting that "dozens of drug traffickers, including dealers, were overthrown in recent weeks."
He pointed out that "the assassination of Police Lieutenant-Colonel Sarmad al-Atabi a few weeks ago in Muqdadiyah and accusations of smuggling gangs of being behind the crime give another message about the seriousness of the smuggling and drug mafias in Diyala and the possibility of it turning into another terrorism that threatens stability and civil peace amid accusations that influential parties are behind these gangs by presenting support her."
And she continued, "The file of recent changes in the Diyala Security Institution will take into account the smuggling and drug file. There will be a comprehensive vision about reducing their danger and showing the routes for the passage of smuggling convoys and drugs together, especially since the representatives and officials have provided important information that can form a road map in the face of risks threatening the stability of Diyala."
